I’ve worked in magazine publishing since 1997, and have just been made redundant. Fun! I’m also the mother of Teddy-the-toddler, and – at time of writing – halfway through my second pregnancy. The combined terrors of redundancy and an expanding family have driven me to this – a personal moan-fest about all my various concerns. Be that Teddy’s eating (or lack thereof), my ongoing search for work, the plight of the print magazine industry, my fears about impending second-motherhood, my anxieties in general, fatness, bad hair-ness, the question of whether S Club 7 will ever reform, and plans on how to drum Jacob Rees-Mogg out of town and replace him with someone like Hilary Benn. Who looks oddly similar. (JRM, by the way, isn’t my MP. He’s just a little too close for my liking.)
